The 2022 Santa Barbara County Chardonnay is a beautiful example of the Au Bon Climat style. The flinty, stony aromas stand out, while in the background is an intriguing spice note of clove and nutmeg from sur lie barrel aging in somewhat neutral, Francois Freres barrels for 10 months. Flavours and aromas of citrus and stone fruit, are finished with a beautiful lemon/lime zest note.
2019 Résonance Decouverte Chardonnay

Résonance is Maison Louis Jadot's first venture outside of Burgundy since its inception in 1859. Sourced from the Découverte vineyard, nestled in the heart of the rolling landscape of the Dundee Hills region in Oregon, this wine is a delightful expression of Chardonnay.
Classic Burgundian fermentation is followed by 16 months ageing in French oak barrels. This single vineyard bottling displays complex and elegant floral aromas (white rose and honeysuckle), with notes of lemon peel and apricot and then fine spice and grilled hazelnut. On the palate, the wine delivers elegance and energy, being both ample and generous, with some delicate mineral nuances.
