After several years as a devotee of Cote Du Rhone and South of France, I've decided to head back to Bordeaux. I made a pretty accurate comparison between Marlo Wines and Fine Wines Direct and Marlo came out on top; mainly because I have a preference for Left Bank wines and Marlo was the clear winner there. Last Sunday, the Chateau Beaumont was delicious. My Sri Lankan guests were amazed. I'll be putting in an order for Christmas. Eric Woodmason. Ps. I left a previous review re 'bad wine' received. Regretfully I never contacted Marlo Wines direct so my review here was the first of them hearing of the bad wine. They have since been in touch, without my prompting, and provided the most excellent customer service. This included an acknowledgement re the wine, the action they would take, a refund and a recommendation! Therefore, sincere apologies to Marlow wine for not going direct and giving the chance to resolve which you did, very well! A truly personalised service.
