Region
Casablanca Valley
Between the coastal mountains and the Pacific Ocean in Chile's central area is where you'll find the stunning Casablanca Valley. Production started here relatively recently in the 1980's, but the reputation of high-quality wines has grown quickly over the last few decades. This cooler climate region, with fertile soils provides the perfect growing conditions for French varietals such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Noir. Consequently, this region has had heavy investment from wine producers in other Chilean regions looking to boost their portfolio.
