Tasting Notes
Vinous 87
Good saturated red. Quintessential and very expressive Graves aromas of sweat, leather and hot bricks. Sweet, concentrated and nicely delineated, with enough balancing acidity to keep it fresh. Captivating, sweet finishing fruit; really quite suave. As good a La Louvière rouge as we’ve tasted to date.
Robert Parker 91
Purple colour: still youthful-looking. A corpulent, rich, minerally palate laden with pure dark fruits. Superb balance with a supple mouthfeel. A delicious wine to enjoy now though I do not know if it has the structure to last long-term. But lovely, sublime 1990. Tasted January 1999.
Anticipated maturity: 1999-0
