Marques de Riscal is a Rioja legend. In the 1850s these guys started using techniques from Bordeaux, including ageing wines in barrels, and the style of Rioja was forever changed. The estate enjoys an expanse of mature vines aged 50 years and older so you're getting a serious wine for your money here.

Vinous 90
The 2019 Reserva is a blend of 94% Tempranillo and 6% Graciano, sourced from a vineyard planted in 1970 in Rioja Alavesa. This dark purple wine unfurls with aromas of dried plums and balsamic over an oaky layer. Dry and rich on the palate, the firm tannins are enlivened by an ethereal mouthfeel—a warm, flavorful and overwhelming wine.
