Tasting Notes
Vinous 91-93
The 2021 Pommard Les Arvelets 1er Cru was blended with 50% whole bunches that are neatly assimilated into the nose. Blackberry and vivid raspberry fruit unfold, slightly confit in style. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet candied entry, red berry fruit, white pepper and clove, a little gourmand in character towards the end. This is quite a complex Pommard and it should age gracefully in bottle.
