Vinous 94-96
The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru has a refined bouquet, eschewing the opulence of this vineyard for something more cerebral – a mixture of red and black fruit, violet and hints of loam. The palate is medium-bodied with a gorgeous, velvety entry. It has the depth of the En Orveaux, yet there is more body and precision on the finish. It fans out wonderfully on the aftertaste and lingers long in the mouth. Superb.
