The 2023 Chapelle-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru has an impressive bouquet. very pure and almost flinty in style, with perfumed black cherry and cranberry fruit, orange sorbet and crushed stone scents. The palate is well balanced with fine tannins. The 2023 comes across vibrant and fresh, a little high-toned on the finish yet it seems very focused and animated. Personally, I would afford this several years in bottle.
