2005 saw no short of legendary wines in Bordeaux and, unsurprisingly, Pontet Canet made one of them. There is so much to enjoy here, drinking now and over the coming decades this does what you expect from top Pauillac - cassis, leather and pencil shavings. Neal Martin sums it up nicely noting "the 2005 Château Pontet-Canet has long been one of the stars of the vintage" and we couldn't agree more.
