Rostaing reveals the more elegant, fragrant side of Cote Rotie, which can often be heavy and brutish. This is 100% Syrah, showing bright red fruit with a smoky, bacon fat element too. A very enjoyable bottle of wine, great with a BBQ throughout the summer or, if it lasts that long, some lovely roast beef.
