The 2015 Chryseia is a blend of 65% Touriga Nacional and 35% Touriga Franca sourced from three exceptional estates and was aged for 15 months in 80% new French oak. It is bold and intense yet beautifully balanced and sophisticated, sashaying from the glass with deep aromas of plum, blackberry, anise, dried flowers and bitter chocolate. On the palate it is powerful yet elegant, with ample fruit and structure, making it remarkably approachable in youth but ensuring a long future ahead.
