Colchagua Valley

Arguably one of the most famous valleys in Chile, Colchagua Valley has an impressive array of prestigious wineries under its belt. The scenery is just as remarkable, with spectacular rolling hills positioned neatly in front of the Andes mountains, it makes a picture-perfect postcard. Named the World's Best Wine Region in 2005 by the Wine Enthusiast Magazine the reputation of the wines here has continued to grow. The cool Mediterranean climate here has enabled many grapes to thrive including Malbec, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. But what the valley is best known for are its outstanding, high quality Bordeaux blends recognised the world over.
