Malbec has taken the world by storm, largely because they're so reliable. The down-side to this is it's easy to assume that they're all the same. Here's a cracking example from Pulenta. Fermented in stainless still it then spend 6 months or so in used oak barrels. This time in barrel add some smokey and vanilla noted to the core of pure red fruit. Delicious.
