Taylor Fladgate’s 2007 Vintage Port is a benchmark year for the house – rich, structured and beautifully composed. It bursts with blackberry, cassis and plum, wrapped in violets, dark chocolate and a touch of spice. The hallmark Taylor backbone is there in full: firm, polished tannins and vibrant acidity that keep all that opulence in perfect balance. Still youthful and powerful, but already showing the silken texture and aromatic lift that mark a great vintage.

A knockout partner for blue cheeses, dark chocolate desserts, Christmas pudding or simply a quiet moment with a good glass and some walnuts. Drink now after a gentle decant, or let it continue to evolve gracefully over the coming decades.
