Right between Gevrey’s muscle and Chambolle’s perfume, Morey often shows the best of both – and Méo-Camuzet nails it. Dark cherry, raspberry and plum meet spice, earth and a touch of violets. The palate has depth and structure, but the tannins are fine and polished, giving it balance and drinkability. Classy, characterful Burgundy with both elegance and a little edge.
