Château Les Charmes-Godard Blanc 2022 is a consistently reliable white from the Thienpont family, known for pure, quietly complex Bordeaux whites at fair prices. The vineyard sits on cool, limestone soils in the Francs Côtes de Bordeaux, planted mainly to Semillon with Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, giving the wine both texture and lift.

The 2022 vintage was warm, but the limestone helped retain acidity, resulting in a wine that balances ripe orchard fruit and citrus with a gentle waxy depth and a clean, mineral finish. Fresh enough to drink young, but it will gain extra nuance over the next three to five years.

A versatile food wine – ideal with roast chicken, grilled fish, soft cheeses or simple pasta with herbs and olive oil.
