As with all wines made by Matthias Pippig and his team at Sanguis in Santa Barbara, the 2013 Pilgrim oozes with personality. It's mainly syrah with small amounts of Grenache and Viognier. The texture is so luxurious, it just calls you back for another sip (the hallmark of any good wine) and is a perfect bottle to share with wine-loving friends.
