From vines rooted in Cornas’ steep granite slopes, this is Syrah with real energy. Juicy blackberry, blueberry and plum meet violets, pepper and a touch of smoked meat. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with silky tannins and a mineral edge that gives lift and precision. More approachable than some of Cornas’ bruisers, but still with plenty of depth and character – a brilliant introduction to the appellation.
